The Gallardo is finally completely finished! The finished build is made up of 3,316 individual parts, and most parts were cut by hand. I painstakingly crafted every piece from scratch, and the model took several years of work in my spare time to complete.
I learned a lot of new skills, overcome plenty of hurdles, and I'm super happy with the end result. There were many more details that I could have added. For example, I would have loved to build a complete exhaust system, and possibly build a twin-turbo set-up. By this point however, it was time to call this build 'done'.
In hindsight, the project was pretty ambitious. If I'd known it was going to take so long and be so involved, then perhaps I would have been tempted to do things differently, or maybe even given up early on!
